My friends have argued for too long over who is the best among us, so we decided to run a competition to discover who is actually the alpha male.
I created the Major League platform to keep track of who was winning overall.
Built in Ruby on Rails, Major League has been a major hit.
Visit SiteIt's simple - set a task, a due date, and a bounty.
When the due date comes around, if you haven't marked the task as 'Done', your credit card will automatically be charged, and the money will be donated to charity.
Created in Ruby on Rails, Done or Donate will be a side-project I continue to work on and improve.
Visit SiteHorizons is a race through the city you love, collecting checkpoints and discovering places you never knew existed!
Physically get to each checkpoint as quickly as you can. Run, ride, or fly - it doesn't matter, just HURRY!
A three-person project, Horizons was built with Sinatra, PostgreSQL, and Foundation in only 4 days, thus demonstrating my ability to produce high-quality work within a short deadline.
Visit SiteAn online marketplace which brings all of the coolest products from online stores directly to you.
Shopping online can be hard. You know that there are great stores out there, but you don't want to wade through 20 crap websites before finding any good products.
With Swag, browsing and purchasing online has never been easier, and the realtime user-ratings ensure that the cream rises to the top.
Visit SiteAvalanche is a small tech company with big ambitions. Whilst best known for spearheading AVG Antivirus software throughout Australia and New Zealand, Avalanche has also been a disruptive tech innovator and investor for the last decade, producing sites such as BreachAlarm, Sit the Test, and Send A Slab.
Briefed to create a new-look website which incorporated the Avalanche values ASAP, I whipped up this little beauty.
Visit SiteBeardo Australia was an online store I founded in 2011 selling Beardos (beanies with beards), regular beanies, scarves, bottle moustaches and other cool accessories!
It was a side-project of mine which ran on the Shopify platform, and turned over sales of more than $150,000.
I made the decision to close down the business in 2017.
A third-party logistics company created to handle physical distribution for online stores. From humble beginnings, AutoPilot grew to over 20 online stores from all around the world, shipping out thousands of orders per month.
As the sole founder, I wore many different hats, including website developer, customer acquisition and sales, business development, physically shipping orders, and everything in between.
Despite good traction, I decided logistics wasn't the area I wanted to focus on, and we moved our clients onto competitors in 2016.
Briefed to design a new website for local builders, PodBuild, I created this prototype.
While the client was extremely happy, unfortunately this design has never made it into production, leaving the ugly, early 90s version live at podbuild.com.au
